HADA Student Scholarships
To be eligible for a HADA scholarship, a student must be enrolled full time in a dietetic education program for the current or upcoming school year.
Applications are due each year on October 1 usually.

Texas Dietetic Association Foundation
Since 1983, the TDA Foundation has existed to raise and award money for scholarships to dietetic students in Texas. In 2005, HADA established an endowed scholarship which is available for dietetics students and interns who are enrolled in, or awaiting acceptance to , Houston area dietetics education programs and internships. In 2007, a total of $20,750 was awarded to 20 Texas students in amounts ranging from $500 to $1250. The postmark deadline is generally March 1. American Dietetic Association Foundation
The ADAF Student Scholarship is awarded to students pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees in dietetic or food and nutrition related areas. Awards are usually awarded to junior or senior level baccalaureate students, second year dietetic technician students, dietetic interns, or graduate students. ADA membership is required, and the amounts and number of scholarship awards varies each year. For the 2007 academic school year, 225 awards were given ranging from $500 to $3,000. Most scholarships were $1,000, and more information can be found in the September Journal of the American Dietetic Association. Applications are available mid-September until mid-January, and the deadline is mid-February. Check the following website for more information.

International Association of Culinary Professionals Foundation
The Culinary Trust Scholarship Program provides funds to qualified applicants for beginning, continuing and specialty education courses at accredited culinary schools worldwide, as well as, independent study for research projects.
Scholarship applications are available starting September 15th every year. Several culinary scholarships are awarded every year.

National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation
The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) encourages and supports senior high school students, undergraduate students, ProStart COA, and educators who are committed to furthering their education and enhancing their careers in the restaurant and foodservice industry by awarding scholarships through its Scholarships and Mentoring Program.
